Why Rent This 1000kg Glass Lifter

This 1000kg glass lifter gives one operator full control over large glass panels using a remote control for suction, release, and positioning — no second crew member needed to help stabilize the load.

It rotates 360° with locking positions and tilts to place panels precisely into facades, curtain walls, and large window openings, backed by a dual independent vacuum circuit so a single seal issue doesn’t put the load at risk.

Because it’s mains-independent, this 1000kg glass lifter for rent works equally well on elevated facade installations and ground-level fit-out work where running a power cable isn’t practical.

DSZ2-12V-1000 Specifications

Every unit we rent out is inspected, calibrated, and battery-tested before it leaves our warehouse, and is built to meet DIN EN 13155 requirements.

Specifications above are estimated based on similar Robert Kappel models in this series, since no official spec sheet was provided for this specific unit. Please confirm exact figures (unit weight, pad diameter, dimensions) against your actual machine’s documentation, or send the datasheet if you get hold of one and I’ll correct this table.

Choosing the Right Capacity

If you’re unsure whether 1000kg is the right fit, here’s how it compares to the rest of our Robert Kappel range:

• 900 kg — 12 pads, lighter-duty configuration — see 900kg listing →
• 1,000 kg (this listing) — 10 pads, mid-weight facade and curtain wall jobs
• 1,550 kg — base configuration of our largest unit — see 1550kg listing →
• 2,000 kg — full configuration for the heaviest jobs — see 2000kg listing →

Not sure which one fits your panel weight? Contact us with your job details and we’ll confirm the right unit before delivery.

Best Uses for This Glass Lifter Rental

Contractors across the UAE rent this 1000kg glass lifter for jobs including:

• Curtain wall and facade glass installation
• Large shopfront and storefront glazing
• Glass balustrade and structural glazing
• Marble and stone slab handling in fit-out projects

The dual independent vacuum circuit means if one circuit loses pressure, the second continues holding the load while the acoustic alarm alerts the operator immediately.

Safety & Compliance

Every unit we supply meets DIN EN 13155, the European standard for loose lifting attachments used on construction and assembly sites. Before every rental, our team inspects the suction pads, checks vacuum gauge accuracy, and confirms the battery and charger are working correctly.

FAQ

What is the maximum load this glass lifter can handle?

This unit lifts up to 1000kg using a 10-pad suction array, sitting between our 900kg and 1550kg models in the fleet.

Does it need mains power on site?

No — it runs on a 12V battery with an integrated charger, making it fully mains-independent.

Is it safe for heavy glass panels?

Yes — it has 2 independent vacuum circuits, so if one loses pressure, the second continues holding the load while an acoustic alarm alerts the operator.

Do I need a trained operator?

We recommend a trained operator for site safety, and we can supply one on request alongside the equipment.

Which areas do you deliver to?

We deliver this 1000kg glass lifter rental across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and the Northern Emirates.
